Ok, so I have done nothing with my blog for an entire year.  Well, life happens!

It has been an exctiting one.  I almost lost my sister and my mother.  I spent countless hours in the hospital.  My sister got married, I got married.  The economy failed us all, which for me meant 3 months of pay reduced by 20%.  Ouch.  I wish my expenses had been reduced as well.

While things are starting to calm down, I find myself at a crossroad in my life.

My finances have been ignored and my house is a disaster.  I love my job, but I know I need to find something that allows me more time with my family and friends.  My husband and I need to combine finances. Most important, my son starts kindergarten this fall.  We live a district with one of the worst school systems in the state.

So, here is the plan:  First, I am meeting my wonderful husband tonight for a quiet dinner.  We are going to go over our dreams, wants, needs, etc.  And then, we will talk about the first steps towards our goals.

In addition, I plan to use this blog as an online jounal as I go through the programs outlined in
AND

Here they are, in case you are interested in following along with me:
